A Christmas Story

What a blessing to have been able to celebrate Christmas one more year with our brothers and sisters in Tabacal.

About 15 years ago God asked us to move to Guatemala to work specifically with the Mayan people but we had no idea He was going to have us walk alongside our friends in Tabacal for the past 13 years.

We have seen them work very hard to pay off their land from having their elementary school in a chicken coop to now having a High School program with coverage from one of the best Christian Schools in Guatemala!

God has been good and faithful, and we are blessed to have been part of their story in the development of their community with the partnership of God’s people through Welcome to My Father’s House.

As we look back on the first year of our ministry's outreach, the people of Tabacal lived in little shacks made out of tin metal. Now they have cement homes.

Our dreams for the children to be able to learn music and dramas, were beyond our greatest imagination. Now, those little ones are teenagers and most are getting a secondary education, along with their teachers, creating beautiful dramas to tell God’s Christmas story. 🎄

Thank you all for walking alongside us on this beautiful journey call a Christian life!
